About me
Brad is an Associate Professor of Law at Colorado Law School and the Director of the Entrepreneurship Initiative for the Silicon Flatirons Center. As a professor, Brad leads the law school's Entrepreneurial Law Clinic. In addition to his clinical instruction, Brad teaches doctrinal courses in the areas of venture capital (with co-professor Jason Mendelson), entrepreneurship, and innovation policy. Brad also teaches courses in Colorado's Interdisciplinary Telecommunications Program (“ITP”).
Brad is the founding Director of Silicon Flatirons Entrepreneurship Initiative. Started in 2007, the Entrepreneurship Initiative is a leading platform that helps connect the CU campus to the Front Range's world class start up community.
In addition to his academic work, Brad's prior consulting experience includes work in the areas of angel finance and public safety emergency communications. Brad is currently a mentor with the Boulder Techstars program.
Specialties: Research interests include the intersection of innovation and highly regulated industries, entrepreneurial finance, as well as telecommunications policy issues.
