Karen is a tech trailblazer and founder of three companies, including two in the natural products industry (one being Makeena). With 25+ years in software and data and as a general counsel, Karen is a seasoned leader, securing a nationwide contract with Wild Oats in a prior startup. Karen holds a B.S. in Accounting from Indiana University (she’s a former CPA), a J.D. from the University of Illinois, and studied at the University of Oxford. Her background at Accenture and Intel and teaching entrepreneurship at the University of Colorado highlight her diverse expertise, which she brings to Makeena with passion and tenacity.
